Bell raises Vick up after the go-ahead TD on Sunday against the Ravens. |
The Eagles signed Demetress Bell in the offseason to take over the reigns of superstar Jason Peters while he recovers from a torn Achilles tendon. Bell's transition into the Howard Mudd scheme has been slow, but Bell looks to be improving. After being inactive week one, he jumped over rookie Dennis Kelly for the backup tackle spot and played well when Dunlap went down on Sunday, other than one holding call. He'll get his chance to win back the starting left tackle job with a solid performance against Arizona.
Maclin re-aggravated his hip pointer injury and is getting treatment, according to Reid.
